Camp Sarika by Amangiri — Utah
Surrounded by pristine wilderness, Camp Sarika sits just a five-minute drive from sister resort Amangiri. The luxury ten-pavilion encampment is the first year-round destination of its kind in North America, and was designed by San Francisco- and Johannesburg-based design firm Luxury Frontiers — using canvas woven from recycled plastic bottles — with the central pavilion designed by New York’s Selldorf Architects. Interiors are furnished with canvas, wood, and walnut and leather furniture, and each pavilion has its own deck, plunge pool and terrace with a fire pit and telescope for taking in the boundless desert and sky views. While guests have full access to Amangiri’s facilities, the two on-site spa suites and Southwestern Native American restaurant mean there are few reasons to leave the comfort of camp.
