Heritage Italian furniture brand Poliform has taken the opportunity of its 50th anniversary to commission fashion photographer Paolo Roversi to tell its story through the titular elements. The brief was clearly taken to heart: the photographs are not simply various angles or crops of the brand's pieces — rather, they are highly abstracted, occasionally unrecognisable objects or elements.

There is some striking geometry and colour in the images, which are presented as is, with neither caption nor marketing blurb; only Roversi's interpolated textual musings on his oeuvre and philosophy break the visual pattern. Presented with attention to detail and attention to the space necessary to do such a project justice, the large-format slipcase-bound book befits the brand's design heritage and that of its production home of Brianza.
