Studio Act of Kindness × Champaca Wood

Bangkok-based multidisciplinary practice Studio Act of Kindness, led by architect and interior designer Charif Lona, has launched Kindness Wood, a new project in collaboration with Thai timber company Champaca Wood, launching with the Reclaimed Legacy collection.

The Freeform Vignette room divider was inspired by antique Chinese screens, which were often adorned with mother-of-pearl and other precious materials. The traditional partition has been reimagined here in a sculptural, contemporary form, with the screen designed to be reconfigured in various arrangements and orientations, making it an artful and practical addition to a room.
