Forest & Whale

-

Singapore-based Reuse Lab, the design and research arm of design practice Forest & Whale that advocates for circular models, has launched a reusable cup paying tribute to Singapore's hawker culture. Inspired by the metal milk cans used as take-away coffee containers in the 60s, the KopiCup is an evolution of the traditional concept — a leak-free cup that can keep its content hot or cold thanks to its smart stainlesssteel construction. A braided cord handle completes the design, a reference to the raffia string versions originally attached to the upcycled tin cans. It's a subtle addition that makes the cup highly functional and even more charming.
