Batten and Kamp

Hong Kong-based design studio Batten and Kamp has launched Elsewhere, a limitededition collection of ‘future primitive’ sculptural furniture originally commissioned by Hong Kong gallery Novalis Art Design. Inspired by science fiction and the natural landscape of the duo’s home country of New Zealand, the collection’s seven pieces include lounge chairs, lights, sculptures and a table, all of which are imbued with otherworldly qualities. The Eden Found floor lamp (pictured) is crafted from a 3D scan of a branch that has been recreated in cast aluminium, with a strip of handcrafted neon and a base of solid granite.
