Sergey Lvov of Ukrainian furniture manufacturer and creative studio Levantin Design has launched the Kohti stool, with smooth curves of powder-coated steel pipes and a recycled plastic seat produced by Odessa-based Precious Plastic Ukraine.

The Kohti stool’s seamless joints belie its intricate construction process and forwardthinking use of materiality. Kohti means ‘towards’ in Finnish, and the name represents Lvov’s fascination with the converging ideas of preservation and change in today’s world.
