Ahn Luh Resorts and Residences — the brainchild of China Tourism Association president Duan Qiang and Aman Resorts founder Adrian Zecha — has launched a new property in the forests of Sichuan province. Singaporean design firm Studio Affandy & Yeo is behind the interiors, with the property rooted in Chinese tradition and vernacular architecture. A simple, elegant stone and wooden structure recreates the atmosphere of an old Sichuanese mansion, while guestrooms feature loam walls, thatched roofs and wooden beams. The spa and pool are surrounded by lush greenery, as is the rest of the property, making it the perfect location to switch off and reconnect with nature.
