Mt. takao Produce
Taking inspiration from Japan's famous Mount Takao, reportedly the world's most-climbed mountain, and its surrounding natural beauty, Mt. TAKAO Produce designer Kunihiko Matsuba has created the TAKAO armchair. Selected from the trees grown in the area around the mountain, Japanese zelkova is used for the seat and arms, with a bending process used to achieve a seamless wood-grain finish on the arms. The slender brass-plated legs contrast with the organic qualities of the wood and add a luxurious finish to the simple yet classic chair.
