KIM’S CONVENIENCE

JUST AS Fresh Off the Boat put Asian-American stories into mainstream American culture, Canada’s CBC Television highlights the stories of Asian- Canadians with this trailblazing series. Based on the play by Ins Choi, this comedy centres on the Kims: a Korean- Canadian family who run a convenience store in Toronto. The show has won several prizes at the Canadian Screen Awards and the ACTRA Awards.
