Getting there

-

After arriving at Krabi Airport – four hours by plane from Hong Kong – we were led by our chauffeur to a minivan. From there, it was a comfortable one-hour drive to a private jetty, followed by a 45-minute ride on a private speedboat. The last boat leaves the Pimalai private jetty for the resort at 5pm – if the weather or sea conditions are unfavourable, visitors use the public ferry, which can take an extra 15 minutes. All stays at the resort include complimentary round-trip transfers from Krabi Airport.

Our transfers were seamless, thanks to the warm and efficient service of the Pimalai team. Right from the moment we landed, we were well taken care of – there was no rushing or worrying involved, which is key to a relaxing time!

We may still be in the grey when it comes to travelling, but you can always feed your wanderlust by planning ahead. Earlier this year, ANTHIA CHNG got hitched and had a blissful honeymoon at the Pimalai Resort & Spa in Krabi, Thailand. It’s one to bookmark if you’re looking for a great getaway for two!
