Getting students future-ready

What does it take to prepare the teenagers of today for the real world? On top of all the traditional comingof-age challenges, our children are set to face an everevolving workplace experience that demands a new era of leadership skills. It’s a tough place out there!

In exciting news for parents, the new Sixth Form programme at Malvern College Hong Kong (MCHK) will commence in 2021/22, offering a range of enrichment programmes specially crafted to help students prepare for this transition to university and corporate life. We drill down on three of them here.

How one school is preparing Sixth Form students for the challenges of the future.

While this extra freedom will naturally sound appealing to teenagers, parents needn’t worry that it might interfere with their studies, as it’s balanced by personalised academic support delivered through the Sixth Form Tutor Programme. The programme affords every MCHK student his or her own personal tutor for regular one-to-one sessions. The personal relationship developed between tutors and their students is an additional pillar of support they can lean on to navigate the final years of senior school and all the accompanying academic, emotional and personal challenges.
