Enrolling both children at Woodland Happy Valley has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. Woodland lets children learn at their own pace. My daughter has grown socially, emotionally and cognitively; she loves her teachers, and wants to go to school every day. She is now confident, outgoing and very good at expressing her feelings, with an uncontrollable desire to learn.

My one-year old son rarely went out in 2020 because of COVID-19. He was shy and anxious at his first playgroup at Woodland. After a few months, though, he became interactive, helpful and caring, and was learning many new things.

The environment of Woodland is loving, caring, safe, clean and nurturing, with each child made to feel special. Teachers strike an effective balance between fun and academic, teaching my children counting, numbers, shapes and English in a joyful way.

What’s new?

The new Mandarin programme aims to develop competent Mandarin language users in the real world. Each stage builds on the Woodland Journey with clear, developmentally-appropriate learning outcomes. The play-based inquiry approach engages children and develops a love of language learning.
