Plaza Premium Lounge Officially Debuts In Taipei
A contemporary experience within Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport
Plaza Premium Lounge is the world’s largest independent airport lounge network and it recently launched its lounge in Taipei, welcoming travellers of all types regardless of airlines or class of travel. The new lounge is located at the Departures in Terminal 1 and 2 of Taoyuan Airport and span over 2,500sqm, with a comfortable seating capacity of 600 people. The company also sponsored two Travellers Experience Zones to allow visitors to explore and experience various lounge facilities.
Plaza Premium Lounge prides itself to provide a soulful rest for all travellers. Thus, the designer has chosen a “trees and timber” theme, combining contemporary city element with a touch of local flavour. Artistic timber structure, quality fabrics and decorations can be seen throughout the lounge with the idea of evolution and an ever-changing process. To reinforce the city culture, a hollow shape of Taiwan Island is carved on a piece of wood and embedded in the front wall of the Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 1, whereas the iconic Taipei 101 and the skyline of Xinyi district was captured onto a bas-relief and displayed prominently at the reception area of Plaza Premium Lounge in Terminal 2.
User-friendly facilities include the brand’s signature honeycomb seating, powerful hot showers, private resting suites, VIP rooms, meeting room, plenty of electrical outlets, international TV channels, complimentary Wi-fi, newspapers and magazines. The new lounges also serve up freshly-made international cuisines at its livecooking station to provide a theatrical and interactive dining atmosphere.
“Plaza Premium Lounge in Taipei is the first project of our Group in Taiwan,” said Mr. Song Hoi-see, Founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group at the grand opening ceremony today. “We have invested a lot in Taipei by introducing four cutting-edge Plaza Premium Lounges to facilitate travellers departing from, transiting through and arriving at Taipei. We aim at strengthening the affinity of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (Taoyuan Airport) to travellers and making it a preferred transit hub in East Asia.”
