Blissful Dreams

New and unique treatments at The Spa

-

The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore offers a relaxed and harmonious environment beyond the traditional spa experience. Located adjacent to the hotel's pool area on Level 5, the spa's design draws inspiration from Singapore's rich past to create a tranquil sanctuary in which to enjoy a range of indulgent signature spa therapies and treatments such as Pandan Bliss and Orchid Dream, both of which have been inspired by Asian elements and ingredients.

Drawing inspiration from Singapore's

national flower, Orchid Dream is the perfect treat for urban city dwellers. Begin with a welcoming foot ritual using a lush creamy scrub with rice grains and orchid petals, which helps to exfoliate impurities and leave the feet soft and supple. To moisturise and nourish the skin, the sensorial twohour journey continues with a relaxing Aromatherapy body massage incorporating the liberal application of a fragrant orchid essential oil. While a scalp massage is performed, a warm shoulder wrap enhances the experience as tension, stress and aches melt away. Guests leave refreshed and are offered a butterfly pea tea that is rich in antioxidants and aftercare guidance to extend the beneficial effects of the session.

The hour long Pandan Bliss treatment starts with an invigorating herbal bath with energising eucalyptus and pine that soothe muscles and joints. Paired with a heated shoulder wrap that provides instant relief and evokes a sense of calmness. The therapy continues with a rice scrub, and a compression massage using a poultice of natural pandan leaves alongside ginger oil that stimulates blood circulation and relieves muscle stiffness.

Available till 31st December 2018, Orchid Dream is priced at S$400, while Pandan Bliss is priced at S$220 per session (before taxes).
