The Mineheart story is one of a collision of cultures and styles that results in a dynamic collection of art pieces that combine familiar elements from the past and present while playing with different genres and styles to offer a unique, new perspective to fine art. The Mineheart collection will take you into a world of curiosities that blurs the line between art and design. Mineheart loves to play with perception and collaborate with other acclaimed designers to create a mash-up of different styles, periods and materials to surprise and delight.
Launched in 2010 by designers Brendan Young and Vanessa Battaglia,
Mineheart takes its name from the Shakespearian English words 'mine' and 'heart', meaning 'my heart'. This expresses their passion to create freely, without restraint. The duo is known for their playful approach to design, and innovative re-appropriation of materials and imagery. They are always working with other talented designers to develop new products and continue to develop the growing ‘Lovable Collection'!
The Mineheart modern masterpiece collection of prints and wall-art draw on both renaissance inspiration and highly contemporary design ideas. Renowned for featuring iconic modern artworks that blend digital art with photography, and graffiti with historic originals, they're always finding ways to break the rules and bring some thought and playfulness into people's lives.
From their early art work, such as ‘Madame Blush' by Young & Battaglia and ‘The Blue Pencil' by Mineheart, they have flowed through paintings of the renaissance and baroque eras, bringing them in to the 21st Century with a whimsical twist. Combining this style of art-work with other Mineheart collections of a digital nature, such as ‘Air is Not Enough' in collaboration with Himitsuhana and ‘Brother Stanwick' in collaboration with Angela Rossi, along with plans for some exciting new activities including the launch of the Mineheart fine art gallery, which will specialize in limited edition prints, original artworks and sculpture.
Blurring the boundaries between art and design, Mineheart works with established and emerging artists and designers to infuse everyday objects with artistry and expression. Their unique collection of contemporary interior homewares includes lighting, furniture, wallpaper, rugs and accessories in collaboration with artists including Angela Rossi, Chad Wys, Courtney Brims, Helen Hooper, Himitsuhana, Jacky Tsai, Joao Figueiredo, Simon Schubert and Young & Battaglia.
Many in the collection are selected to inspire, tell a story, express a poetic notion, a thought or an experiment, others just make us smile! The pieces are on the boundary between objects of art and mass produced items and many of the products are made to order or produced in small batches by UK based craftspeople.
Mineheart proudly supports British design and manufacturing. All Mineheart products are produced in the UK by passionate people who enjoy what they do; they hope this love is captured inside their pieces and their quality. Mineheart uses local designers and suppliers whenever possible, this enables more control over production, giving greater flexibility, and the ability to offer custom made variations often at very little additional cost to clients.

Tracer360 Illuminated Vest
A revolutionary illuminated and reflective vest for running or cycling with multicolored LED fiber optics, the Tracer 360 changes between 6 intensely bright colors of red, blue, purple, pink, green, and orange; and 5 eye catching multicolor flashing modes. Floating Cloud Lamp
The Richard Clarkson Studio presents Floating Cloud, a magnetically levitating ambient lamp. The project is a collaboration between the two companies, merging the innovative levitation technology developed by Crealev with the form and function of the Cloud product of Richard Clarkson Studio.
Embedded into both the base and the Cloud are magnetic components that allow the cloud to float approximately 70mm off the base. While the base itself must remain plugged in, a rechargeable lithium ion battery powers the Cloud and enables a totally wireless and unobstructed levitation while in use. With full rotational movement and slight vertical bobbing of the cloud a more realistic atmospheric experience is possible. The Floating Cloud also has sound reactive LED lights.
While the Cloud itself does not have a speaker, it will react to your existing sound system as well as spoken voice and loud sounds. An embedded microphone allows the Cloud to flash to the beat of the music in four different styles. The Cloud also has a range of ambient lamp modes in both white and colored versions controlled via an infrared remote.
