Swarovski supports women’s empowerment through sport

Swarovski was delighted to promote women’s empowerment as a supporter of the all-female Prudential Ladies’ International 2018 in Singapore. Held by the Singapore Polo Club over a week in late September, the annual tournament featured some of the world’s best female polo players from Argentina, Kenya and the UK.

To kickstart the prestigious affair, the Singapore Polo Club hosted an exclusive VIP dinner on 26 September. Called "A Table In Venice”, the evening saw a pairing of fine wine and cuisine curated by celebrated Venetian chef and author, Skye Mcalpine, who was specially flown down for the event.

The brand showcased archive pieces at the Swarovski Lounge alongside Atelier Swarovski jewellery, exclusively for VIP guests including Malaysian actress and influencer, Siti Saleha as Guest-of-honor for the finals match.

This continued into an afternoon

soirée at the Singapore Polo Club on 30 September, Sunday, as the Prudential Ladies’ International 2018 got underway. The all-women’s tournament saw international polo professionals like Lia Salvo, Sarah Wiseman, Sally Jellis, Tiva Goss and Izzy Parsons forming three teams: Prudential Singapore, Swarovski and King Power, with King Power emerging as the final victor.
