Bluesound Generation 2i (Gen 2i) is the next generation of Streaming, High-res Wireless Audio.

The new models are Pulse Flex 2i, Pulse Mini 2i, Pulse 2i, Pulse Soundbar 2i, Node 2i, Powernode 2i and Vault 2i. The Pulse Sub remains the same. All Bluesound models feature BLUOS, an awardwinning, music management system that connects, organizes, and controls your music. Choose music from your favorite streaming service or from a music library connected to your home network. Bluesound integrates all these sources and sends the music to every room in the home. Featuring a family of dedicated multi-room, wireless streaming digital music players, Bluesound delivers a high-resolution wireless digital music system with an audiophile-grade feature set.

Gen 2i continues to strengthen the Bluesound line with dual-band Wi-fi for faster connection times and fewer interruptions, Apple Airplay 2 support, upgraded aptx HD Bluetooth for wireless better-thancd quality, improved amplification and acoustics with Pulse Family Amplification for better bass response and more powerful sonic soundscapes, all while maintaining value for consumers.

Of note is the Vault 2i, a network streamer, CD ripper and music library. It lets you rip all your CDS rapidly in bit-perfect, high-resolution formats, and space-saving MP3 simultaneously, storing all your tracks on its internal 2TB hard-drive.
