Majesty Prestigio X Isn’t Just Another Golf Club in Looks and Performance

-

For nearly 50 years, Maruman has been producing golf equipment for Japanese and Asian golfers using the most cutting edge manufacturing process to build quality clubs. As the Majesty name became the leading brand of the company’s product portfolio, Maruman decided to ride the wave and re-brand the line as Majesty Golf, a crucial strategic step in positioning Majesty as a luxury premium brand in the golf market.

With a growing maturity more apparent in recent years, its been observed that executive golfers are increasingly seeking clubs that perform with the least possible effort and at the same time, stands out among the crowd. And Majesty is no stranger when it comes to providing the best to consumers, where every tiny detail

artistically designed onto the club must be complemented by the highest quality craftsmanship.

The mirror like finish, and conspicuous looks of the Prestigio X series of golf clubs are deliberate by design. Apart from easy distance and an unparalleled performance, the executive golfer looking to stand apart from everyone else will appreciate the fine artisanal craftsmanship put into this line of golf clubs.

Driver

Majesty’s mission is to help the executive golfer attain “overwhelming distance performance that excels over all others”, and to also achieve ideal impact with no compromise on feel. To this end, the Majesty Prestigio X boasts a larger sweet spot compared to its predecessor, and this in turn effectively maximises distance on off-center hits. At its thinnest of 1.8mm, the face’s variable thickness and spider web-like design enhances flexibility resulting in added face repulsion.

A deep and low center-of-gravity design enables higher launch with lower spin for overwhelming distance performance. More than just cosmetic, the specially laser-engraved face produces a consistent spin performance in both wet and dry conditions, preventing a loss of ball speed. At 47 inches long, the New Majesty LV-730 Shaft uses Pyrofil ® MR 70 developed in the aerospace industry to realise further weight savings. The shaft plays supple even as it stabilises direction. Available in loft options of 9.5 deg, 10.5 deg, 11.5 deg, and 12.5 deg; in four different shaft flexes up to a maximum of stiff.

Fairway Woods

While it is rare in the golf industry, the Prestigio X fairway woods are also made with the same high grade titanium as the driver, which allows Majesty engineers to design a fairway wood with deeper and lower COG for higher launch and longer carry distance. The semi-shallow clubhead was designed with a precise face height to ensure forgiveness but at the same time, prevent the clubhead from digging under the ball, a common occurrence in shallow-faced woods.

Utility Woods

The Majesty’s utility woods are for golfers who lack the confidence in hitting their fairway woods or longer irons. The Prestigio X utility is a dual-structure unit with a titanium face for maximum face repulsion. Tungsten weights positioned on the sole lower the center-of-gravity for a higher launch.

Irons

Much like the range of woods, Prestigio X irons are also designed with distance in mind. They are made for golfers looking for easy distance performance without effort. Featuring an industry first with “high purity tungsten inner casting”, Majesty succeeded in joining metals to lower the center of gravity by about 5.7 times better than with the traditional tungsten alloy method. Stronger lofts, a wide groove design, and a high strength maraging steel face increase face repulsion at impact.
