The stars were out on the red carpet for the recent 77th Annual Golden Globe Awards, where accolades were bestowed recognising excellence in film and television. The annual ceremony is a major part of the film industry's awards season, which culminates each year in the Academy Awards.
Some of the finest actors and actresses to grace the screen were in attendance wearing Chopard jewellery and watches, including actresses Olivia Colman, Salma Hayek, Patricia Arquette and pop star Sir Elton John.
Olivia Colman, nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her role in The Crown, selected earrings from the “Precious Lace Collection” featuring 4.53 carats of diamonds set in 18-carat white gold; a ring from the “Happy Precious Collection” featuring diamonds set in 18-carat white gold and a ring from the “L'heure du Diamant Collection” featuring diamonds set in 18-carat white gold.
Salma Hayek presented an award during the evening, wore earrings from the “Haute Joaillerie Collection” featuring 86.74 carats of apatite beads, 24.27 carats of Paraiba tourmalines, 11.68 carats of diamonds, lazulites set in 18-carat white gold; a ring from the “Temptations Collection” featuring a 4.61-carat pearshaped pink quartz, rubellites and diamonds set in 18-carat white gold; a ring from the “Precious Lace Collection” featuring 4.75 carats of diamonds and a diamond ring from the “Magical Setting Collection” in 18-carat white gold.
Patricia Arquette, winner for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture made for Television for her role in The Act, selected to wear earrings and a ring from the “Palme Verte Collection” in 18-carat yellow Fairmined gold.
Sir Elton John, winner for Best Original Song from the nominated film Rocketman, selected a timepiece from the “Imperiale Collection” featuring 11.22 carats of diamonds with a case in 18-carat white gold.
