Taylormade could have outdone themselves this time with their commemorative 2021 U.S. Open Tour Bag. Used by Rory Mcilroy and Dustin Johnson, the eyecatching design captures the big west coast vibe and is inspired by the hues of Southern California sunsets along its sandy coastline, celebrating the return of the U.S. Open to “America’s Finest City.” The retro styling complete with bold alternative font on the side panels pays homage to Taylormade’s longstanding California ties and the beach lifestyle. The bag is made from ballistic nylon, further delivering an evocative and stylised feel. A throwback Taylormade logo on the umbrella pocketed is enclosed by a Torrey Pine that’s native to the course. The bag handle is a subtle nod to the region’s self-proclaimed title of “Craft Beer Capital of the World.”
