New High Performance In Familiar Classic Shapes

With its first serious foray into building putters, Cobra Golf is certainly announcing major intent with not just one, but two new putter lines under the King umbrella.

In contrast to its full-on high technology 3D printed putter range, Cobra’s King Vintage Series of putters blend classic shapes with modern and innovative performance. The family includes four shapes already familiar to golfers - a blade, mallet, fang, and oversize mallet – all with names inspired by classic sports cars.

The putters feature a steel chassis, simple sightlines for alignment, and a black and turbo yellow colour scheme. With multiple shapes, hosels, and an adjustable weighting system, the Vintage family has a variety of options for any style of putting stroke.

Working with SIK Golf and Bryson Dechambeau, Cobra engineers also improved flatstick roll in its soft yet crisp feeling aluminium face insert. SIK’S Descending Loft Technology (DLT) features four descending lofts on the face to accommodate different putting strokes and angles of attack to produce the most consistent roll trajectory.

KING VINTAGE SPORT-45

A traditional blade with a plumber neck hosel. A 45-degree toe hang is designed for players with a slight arc who desire a blend of stability and control. The 304 stainless steel chassis has a single sightline for improved alignment. The aluminium face insert utilises four descending lofts (4°, 3°, 2°, 1°) and adapts to descending, neutral and ascending attack angles, ensuring the most consistent and accurate roll trajectory. Two 20g sole weights in the custom weight ports can be adjusted to +5g or -10g each to tune the overall head weight.

KING VINTAGE SPORT-60

The Sport-60 is the second offering in the “Sport” blade shape, it features a flow neck hosel design with a 60-degree toe hang suitable for stronger arc putting strokes. The Sport-60 is equipped with two 25g sole weights that can be adjusted up to -15g each to decrease the overall head weight up to -30g.

KING VINTAGE TORINO

The mid-mallet shape with a single bend shaft creates a face-balanced design for the straight-back, straightthrough stroke that also desires slightly more stability in a small mallet design. Triple sightlines on the Vintage Torino’s 304 stainless steel chassis enhance alignment at address. The aluminium face insert with SIK Golf’s DLT adapts to any stroke for the same consistent and accurate roll. Two 10g sole weights on the Torino’s sole are adjustable up to +15g each to increase the overall head weight up to +30g to dial in feel and stability.

KING VINTAGE NOVA

The popular fang shape enhances stability and improves alignment while the single bend hosel on the facebalanced design suits the straightback, straight-through stroke. The Vintage Nova‘s 304 stainless steel chassis is paired with an aircraft grade 6061 aluminium face insert featuring SIK’S DLT to optimise feel and roll. A single 10g sole weight adjusts up to +15g to increase the head weight up to +30g.

KING VINTAGE NOVA-40

The alternative fang shaped offering is the Nova-40 in a short slant hosel design with a 40-degree toe hang suitable for golfers with a slight arc to their putting stroke. The Nova-40 is also equipped with the same 10g sole weight and adjustable range as the Nova.

KING VINTAGE STINGRAY

An oversize mallet, the Stingray features a 304 stainless steel perimeter chassis with a single adjustable weight (+15g) positioned forward of centre and behind the face. This is the highest MOI shape in the Vintage family, and the Stingray with single bend hosel is a face balanced design for players with a straight-back, straight-through stroke seeking maximum forgiveness and stability. As with the entire Vintage range, SIK Golf’s DLT with four descending lofts (4°, 3°, 2°, 1°) are an integral part of the aluminium face insert for optimum roll and feel

KING VINTAGE STINGRAY-40

While everything about the putter head remains the same as its namesake, The Stingray-40 variation of the putter features a short slant hosel design that creates a 40-degree toe hang that is suited for players who have a slight arc to their putting stroke.

For the entire King Vintage range, custom weights (10g, 15g, 20g, 25g) are sold separately. The lightweight Lamkin Sinkfit Connect grip provides outstanding feel while an embedded sensor can be paired to the Arccos Caddie app so you can receive in-depth putting data for analysis and improvement.

Aside from the Sport-60 and Nova40 which is available only in right-hand versions, all other King Vintage putters are available in right and left-hand in 34”, and 35” lengths through stock (other lengths available in custom). For more information visit www.cobragolf.com.
