ROLEX GMT-MASTER II

Scheffler revealed his celebratory watch of choice at the Green Jacket presentation ceremony. On the champion's wrist was the two-tone Rolex Gmt-master II ref. 126711CHNR. First introduced in 2018, this is the stainless steel and 18k Everose gold version with a black dial and a split-colour brown and black Cerachrom ceramic bezel.

Designed to display the time in two different time zones simultaneously, the Gmt-master II features an arrow-tipped hand which circles the dial once every 24 hours, as well as a bidirectional rotatable bezel and a 24-hour graduated monobloc Cerachrom insert in two-colour ceramic.

This patented insert is made of extremely hard, scratchproof ceramics whose colours are unaffected by ultraviolet rays. The high-tech ceramic is also inert and cannot corrode. The moulded, recessed graduations and numerals are coated with gold or platinum using a PVD process. Beyond function, the bezel of the Gmt-master II contributes to the model's strong visual identity.

The gloss black dial is embellished by large hour markers made from Everose gold. Filled with Chromalight luminescent material, the markers glow bright blue glow in the dark. As with the markers, the hands are of Everose gold.

Designed and built in-house by Rolex, the COSC Swiss Certified Calibre 3285 self-winding movement is insensitive to magnetic fields, features 31 jewels and offers 70 hours of power reserve.

The distinctive three-piece link Oyster bracelet features outer links made from Oystersteel with a brushed finish and centre links of polished Everose gold. The Oysterlock safety clasp is also two-tone and contains an Easylink comfort extension link for the perfect fit.
