It’s fashion, darling
FOR NOVEMBER AND December, we present to you an international visual spectacle. Within this issue, you’ll find a collection of stunning images that we have taken all around the world. We did shoots in Paris, Shanghai, New York, Milan and Los Angeles, and after all that, settled down for a traditional afternoon tea in London. We’re all about that Fashion Week extravaganza this month, so we went to New York and Milan Fashion Week with Asia’s It-girls, Dizzy Dizzo and Kiwi Lee, capturing their cutting-edge styles as they weave in and out of shows – they do up to six outfit changes in one day and honestly, we don’t know how they do it! Moving to sunny Los Angeles, we get an exclusive chance to speak with Hart Denton, hot off the set of Riverdale; he offers some inspiring advice on how to deal with the naysayers in your life and turn their negativity into fuel to become better. He started in the industry as a model and boy, does it show in this shoot. I don’t think I’ve seen a guy pull off a tiger coat quite the way he does.
On the other side of Los Angeles is our cover star, Madison Beer, who was discovered by Justin Bieber on the internet at the age of 13. Since then, her music career has taken off and she has become queen of the Gen-Z social media revolution. Instead of our usual themed shoots, we decided to try something a bit different this time and placed Madison in six scenarios with very distinct looks – some of them making her practically unrecognisable, but in the best way. It’s not easy dealing with fame at such a young age, either, and she tells us about what it feels like to be a teenager under the scrutiny of the public eye.
What’s better that one fluffy kitty? Why, two of them, of course. Hong Kong darling Angela Yuen has graced the screens of international movies and fashion campaigns. As she cozies up to the two furry felines for our fashion cover this issue, she reveals to us her ultra-playful side and how she’s just a normal little girl who wants to have fun. It’s so hard not to like her; she’s the wunderkind that seems to be taking Hong Kong by storm, all the while with that sweet smile on her face.
If that wasn’t enough fashion inspiration for you, we have packed in a special section with everybody’s favourite thing – shoes! Really, who doesn’t love a good pair?
