WILD ROBOT

BELLA HADID MAY said it best at the Dior Homme pre-fall show in Tokyo: “Kim is the future!” Giving clues as to what was the inspiration of the show was a sexy statue of a robot in the centre of the venue. Kim Jones called on artist Hajime Sorayama, known for his Sexy Robot series, to create a metallic robot for the show that stood 11 metres high, swathed in Technicolor laser beam lights. Both Jones and Sorayama share an inexhaustible quest for bringing us closer to the future.
