MILLENNIAL CHIC
Top fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni fronts APM Monaco’s latest jewellery collection
Heavily influenced by Monaco and the South of France, jewellery brand APM Monaco launched in 1982. All these years later, the brand’s strength continues to be in its unique Monaco-influenced handcrafted jewellery that’s both modern and timeless. By introducing new pieces on a monthly basis, the brand has managed to stay relevant since its inception, resonating well with women from all walks of life. The APM Monaco name is synonymous with chic and glamour – perfect for today’s woman.
One big fan of APM Monaco is Chiara Ferragni, the Italian fashion influencer and founder of one of the world’s most popular fashion blogs, The Blonde Salad. Beyond the realm of the internet, Ferragni is also the creative director of a successful clothing line, a cover star for numerous magazines and a constant jetsetter for collaborations with major fashion houses. The 31-year- old also led the Forbes Top Influencers list in the fashion category for 2017.
Ferragni’s latest endeavour sees her fronting the advertising campaign of APM Monaco’s latest jewellery collection – La Belle Époque – which was shot at Monaco’s prestigious Casino de MonteCarlo. The new collection pays homage to the golden age of France and features a sumptuous assortment of heavily ornamented pieces, rendered in sterling silver and finished with cubic zirconias. Vintage shapes are juxtaposed with modern embellishments and motifs, with a series of statement charms and artful emblems adorning pendants, rings, bracelets and anklets.
Ferragni, who likes her jewellery to be “effortlessly cool and always changing”, says she’s excited to become part of the APM Monaco family. “I love their collections – they are so easy to mix and match,” she exclaims. “Every time I wear something, it makes a statement. I love it!”
