THIRTEEN YEARS AFTER it started as an e-commerce marketplace for luxury boutiques around the world, Farfetch has launched its first-ever brand. There Was One, developed with New Guards Group, is described as “a line of elevated wardrobe essentials with sustainability built in and longevity in mind”. It features conscious materials, minimal packaging that is recyclable and compostable, and limited drops to minimise overproduction.
