Inspired by the 1969 drum solo “Amen Brother” by The Winstons, Virgil Abloh’s spring/summer 2022 collection was a world of polar opposites – tailoring versus tracksuits, muted versus neon, and formal versus rave. The show also unveiled the house’s collaboration with Nike, showcasing a range of Nike Air Force 1’s in different colourways and signatures of Abloh: the word “AIR” on the sole and “LACET” on the laces.
