#Legend

spice of life

WHAT AN INTRODUCTION

to spring. I don’t know about you but almost our entire team was out of commission after a raucous Art Week that confirmed to the world that Hong Kong is back and not about to let any of its newfound energy go to waste. The city is buzzing and there’s really no time to spare.

Take it from our cover star Kim Woo-bin, who recently returned to screens after stepping away from the spotlight to seek medical treatment. The South Korean model-turned-actor has made his comeback with a bang and we at #legend are keen to follow suit.

As such, we present our annual spring/summer men’s report and a fashion shoot to show you how best put those runway looks to use. This time it’s out in the wilds – because there’s growth all around and we’re making sure you look good wherever you might find yourself these days. We’ve also shot a selection of men’s watches for gents looking for a horological update.

Then, we’ve compiled a whole host of things and shindigs you might want to mosey over to, from Artelli’s Bearbrick exhibition (we have an interview with Bearbrick creator and Medicom founder Tatsuhiko Akashi) to French dining destination Clarence at H Code, as well as an interview with Serge Laurent, Van Cleef & Arpels’ director of dance and cultural programmes, on the jewellery brand’s plans for a dance festival this spring. For car buffs, the Maserati Grecale Modena has finally made it to town and we’ve taken a spin in this gorgeous new SUV.

In this issue, you’ll also find a host of personalities. Everyone’s coming back out and we’ve interviewed Kim Jones on his collaboration with drinks brand Hennessy as well as done shoots with one of Hong Kong’s most promising singer-songwriters, Panther Chan, artist and gym owner Lynus Woo, and entrepreneurs and influencers Elva Ni and Emily Lam-Ho.

Basically, there’s a lot but we hope that in our thoughtfully curated pages, you’ll find a way into the dizzying momentum that this city has readopted. We’re already in the thick of it and we’ve got our eyes peeled for those of you who’re joining in.
