A pictorial review of the last 30 days from around the world.
Bubba Watson picked up his second victory in as many weeks and his second career World Golf Championship, just one week before the Masters. With a win at the WGC-Dell Technology Match Play at Austin, Texas, people start to call him a favuorite to win the year’s first Major. Watson is also, of course, a two-time Masters winner, who knows his way around Augusta National.
“I’m not a favourite. I’m going to definitely say that. I’m not a favourite,” Watson joked. “I don’t want anybody to talk to me that week. Let me just focus on what I’ve got to do. I’m not going to play well that week, so nobody talks to me.”
Actually, Watson is among the favourites for the year’s first Major, listed on one website at 16/1 at the Westgate Las Vegas SupeBook, just behind the likes of Tiger Woods, Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy.
