Hong Kong national team player Terrence Ng finished 6-over to secure the low-amateur honours at the 2018 Clearwater Bay Open.
“I felt that I played pretty solid all week, just had one or two holes that cost me some shots but a lot of positives that I can take away from the week for sure. Finishing as the low amateur is just a bonus prize for me as I didn’t really think about the result that much, just tried to play my best out there, but it definitely gives me a lot of confidence in the future.
“I feel pretty good with my game right now. Obviously, there’s still much to improve, but I have been playing pretty well lately. I will be playing the Asian Tour and the PGA TOUR SeriesChina Qualifying School in the December and early next year. I will see how that goes first then think about whether I should turn pro or not, but I’m ready for it,” said Ng.
