HEADS UP

Jetgala - - WINGS -

While synthetic vision is becoming standard among new aircraft, Dassault Aviation has leveraged its military jet experience to introduce a head-up display (HUD) that integrates synthetic and infrared vision. The new FalconEye Combined Vision System allows pilots to look through their HUDs to focus on the runway while simultaneously viewing depictions of key obstacles such as mountains, other aircraft on the runway — and even uninvited animals. This combination of technologies substantially improves situational awareness and thus safety. Low-light or foggy operations, especially in mountainous regions, are especially safer with the use of FalconEye.
