AUDEMARS PIGUET ROYAL OAK CHRONOGRAPH
The Royal Oak Chronograph celebrates its 20th anniversary this year with a new design that harks back to a muchloved look first seen in 2008. Its blue dial features a twotone ‘grande tapisserie’ pattern. Even as the watch takes visual cues from 1930s to 1960s timepieces, it incorporates subtle changes — larger chronograph counters, shorter but wider hour-markers, additional luminescent coating for improved readability of the hours, and a date window relocated between 4 and 5 o’clock. This year’s edition comes in different combinations of finish, including a stainless steel case with stainless steel bracelets and an 18-carat pink-gold case with either a pink-gold bracelet or blue alligator strap.
