LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE
That’s a phrase that’s bandied about frequently on social media these days – live your best life. I’ve often thought about that phrase vis-a-vis my own life. Am I living it the best way I know how? What does “best” mean anyway? Certainly, in the context of this publication you’re reading, the phrase would imply that people having access to the luxuries we feature here are living to their fullest. And in a sense, they are. I mean, wouldn’t you rather travel in a Bombardier G7500 than fly commercial? Stay at the Capella Ubud rather thank bunk in a hostel? Flying private gets you to your destination more well-rested and in a better frame of mind and staying at a good hotel will infinitely be more comfortable, which I think is what it’s all about really. They’re not really about the luxurious things per se; it’s more what they give to the person who has them – the luxury of time, a good night’s rest – are in themselves simply the best things in life. And that may be what the phrase is all about.
So live your best life. It’s the only one you have.
