Credor Spring Drive Eichi II

he Eichi is widely acclaimed for its simplistic yet distinguis­hed design of deep-blue on a pure white porcelain dial. he true craftsmans­hip of the watch lies in the details, where artists in the micro artist studio in Shiojiri in central Japan meticulous­ly hand-paint the 12 hour marks and a redor logo onto the white dial. Blancpain 8th Edition of Only Watch – Fifty Fathoms Barakuda

Blancpain has been an avid supporter of the Monaco Associatio­n against Muscular Dystrophy since 2001 and will continue its support at the eighth edition of Only Watch. his year, the brand presents the new Fifty Fathoms Barakuda, which has been created especially for the charity auction. Following the 1 60s design aesthetics of the famed divers’ choice of watches, the Fifty Fathoms Barakuda features a black dial punctuated by broad white hour-markers in Super- umi1ova with blue luminescen­ce. Other vintage details include its white-lacquered pencilshap­ed hands, and date display at 3 o’clock in a prominent window – a key element of the original model. he 40mm steel case is water-resistant to 300m and houses the 1151 self-winding movement, equipped with two barrels. he mechanics and oscillatin­g weight bearing an engraving of “Only Watch” and the Blancpain logo can be admired through its sapphire case back.

Minimalist­ic beauty is the name of the game for Jaquet Droz’s latest Petite Heure Minute. he timepiece showcases the brand’s signature off-centre time display at the 12 o’clock position on a stunning mother-of-pearl dial. Adding a subtle pop of colour and sophistica­tion are the hands in a soft-tinted midnight blue that matches the hand-made rolled-edge alligator leather strap. he watch comes in two iterations, one with a simplistic and timeless bezel of white gold and the other embellishe­d with 160 diamonds. Both versions are powered by a self-winding mechanical movement with double barrels that provide up to a 68-hour power reserve.
