“One of the most memorable flying trips for members continues to be Luang Prabang in Laos. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located right by the Mekong River. We organised one of the first flying trips for WingsOverAsia members some eight years ago and have flown back three to four times already. The historic town exudes this peaceful and tranquil old school charm you can’t find in other Southeast Asian cities and it isn’t overrun with tourists.”

Okinawa, Japan

“It’s such a joy flying over the Okinawa Islands, as the waters are crystal clear and you can see coral formations directly from the cockpit. It’s a tropical paradise, with its white sand beaches and blue waters, so its scenery is definitely a plus point for our members when we fly overhead. The food also is quite different from the usual Japanese fare but always a hit with the foodies in our club. Since Okinawa is quite a distance away from the rest of Japan, you get to experience the prefecture’s own culture as well.”
