A FITTING CELEBRATION

-

The Glen Grant has unveiled a limited-edition, 60-year-old single malt scotch whisky to celebrate the six-decade career of Dennis Malcolm, one of Scotland’s longest-serving master distillers. The Dennis Malcolm 60th Anniversary Edition was bottled from a single ex-Oloroso sherry cask, making it the oldest bottling in the distillery.

Inspired by the distillery’s tall slender pot stills, the decanter took 15 hours to fashion from hand-blown crystal glass, is marked with a bespoke number and encased in a walnut wood box that bears the Master Distiller’s engraved signature and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

The Glen Grant Dennis Malcolm 60th Anniversary Edition,Aged 60Years is bottled at 52.8 per cent ABV, and non-chill filtered to retain optimal flavour and aroma. On the nose are citrus notes of Seville orange, and other fruits nuts, including apricot, peaches, raisins, and pecans, and hints of smoke and cinnamon. The rest of the taste profile is equal parts nutty and sweet with suggestions of dark chocolate, figs, and toffee.

The Glen Grant 60Years Old is available in limited quantities in Singapore from Campari Group’s new RARE division of super-premium spirits.
