FERRARI 250 GTO
The year was 1962.The Ferrari 250 GTO – a two-seater berlinetta fitted with a front V12 engine – made its public debut at the annual pre-season Ferrari press conference. It was the only one among a range of monopostos and sport racers with a mid-engine configuration.
The Ferrari 250 GTO model is described as the one that summed up the Ferrari philosophy best. It was the pinnacle of development of the 250 GT series in competition form yet still remained a road car.
