MORE IS MORE
The largest yacht in the Bluegame fleet, the 22.7-metre BG72, is another game-changer from the Italian yard.
With its massive – and quite private – beach club area almost on the waterline aft, to the reversewindshield pilothouse, to the Volvo IPS power, there is plenty of Bluegame’s iconic design on display here.
But more of it.
More large, bright, customizable interior spaces, for instance. Two, vastly-different lower-deck layouts include three cabins – one with a large full-beam saloon aft and owners’ cabin in the bow, and another with a full-beam owners’ cabin aft, saloon and twin cabin midships and a VIP cabin in the bow.
On the main deck there’s more of everything too – more space, in particular. The enclosed wheelhouse is relatively compact – a perfect solution to let the crew manage the yacht – while under the top is a large cockpit space with sunpads aft. There are more sunpads in the bow, and more again on the cockpit roof.
There’s more speed than you expect too, with 900- or optional 1,000-horsepower Volvo IPS units producing 28- and 30-knot speeds respectively.
The idiom may suggest less is more, but in the case of the BG72, more is definitely more.
