Heav­enly food in trop­i­cal par­adise – what more could one ask for? This Jan­uary, the pris­tine Outrig­ger Konotta Mal­dives Re­sort will fea­ture the culi­nary cre­ations of UK guest chef James Macken­zie. As the head chef and pro­pri­etor of the Miche­lin-starred Pipe and Glass in South Dal­ton, York­shire, Eng­land, Macken­zie will hold a cook­ing class on the beach and present a spe­cial five-course wine-pair­ing menu pre­pared by him on two evenings. His sig­na­ture dishes – in­clud­ing duck three ways, York­shire pud­ding and forced York­shire rhubarb – will be avail­able for vis­i­tors to taste from Jan­uary 4 to 14.
