London is a city that isn’t short of great Thai restaurants. Som Saa, the restaurant and cocktail bar housed in a former fabric warehouse earns high marks for being one of the best in the business. What started off as a pop-up under a railway arch has turned into a mecca of regional Thai cuisine in East London. I highly recommend getting the “Tem Toh”, which translates to “full table”, and takes diners on a journey to the many regions of Thailand, with plates like grilled beef sirloin and chili jam salad on a betel leaf and stir-fried pak choi with Asian mushrooms and English watercress.
