Like food, makeup has a limited shelf life—especially when it is left out, or in the case of wearing makeup, applied on our faces. As much as we would love to maintain that fresh, glowing look we created several hours ago, unfortunately, there is a finite number of hours a makeup look will last without doing a retouch. Not that we would like our makeup to last for days on end (although how wonderful would it be to say woke up like this and mean it), but it would be nice for it to at least stay on until the end of the day, or okay, fine, even until the end of a meal.
