PAT MCGRATH LABS X SUPREME

One of the biggest surprises of 2020 was the announcement of a lipstick collaboration between British makeup artist Pat Mcgrath and NYC skate label Supreme: a Mattetrance lipstick in a shade of red fittingly called, well, Supreme. The packaging fuses two familiar styles: Pat Mcgrath Labs’ gold lip emblem and Supreme’s Barbara Kruger-inspired aesthetic. While Supreme has made a name for itself for making unexpected collaborations (tools, bikes, and even Oreos), the lipstick marks its first foray into beauty products in nearly three decades since its inception.
