LOVE OF SIAM
Upholding only the best of Thai hospitality and flavors, Dusit Thani indulges us in a meal unlike any other
Dusit Thani, one of the premier hotels in Manila, has always been known for its distinct Thai hospitality and luxury experience. Aside from the superior accommodation and service, it has also pushed the envelope in dining. This was further illustrated with their recently concluded exclusive wine dinner titled Epicurean: A Thai Gastronomic Journey featuring Michelin Star chef Thanintorn Chantharawan or Chef Noom from the famed restaurant Chim by Siam Wisdom. He was joined by Nikki Lohitnavy, oenologist of the GranMonte Vineyard.
Together with Benjarong’s resident Chef, Watcharaphon Yongbanthom or Chef Ja, Chef Noom created a six-course dinner highlighting the best of modern Thai cuisine. Gourmands and gastronomes reveled at each dish that consisted distinct Thai flavors such as Scallop with Aubergine Chutney, Geang Phed Gam Moo, and River Prawn with Kaffir Lime Spice Curry Sauce.
The sumptuous dinner was perfectly paired with international award-winning wines by GranMonte brought by Nikki, all of which were produced and bottled from the Asoke Valley vineyard in Khao Yai, Thailand. Towards the end of the night, guests took home with them a deeper appreciation of Thai flavors and learned how these can be cleverly paired with refined tastes of wines.
