Diminutive and easy-to-miss are not terms associated with Richard Mille. And the brand’s new store at the Mandarin Oriental, Taipei – Mille’s largest to date – is neither of those things. The entrance is 8.5 metres high, and a 1.5-tonne glass sculpture of an RM 033 hangs from the ceiling of this vast flagship location.
