The Audemars Piguet Women’s Royal Oak turned 45 this year, and the occasion warranted the Royal Oak Frosted Gold, designed in collaboration with Florentine jewellery designer Carolina Bucci. The level of soft sparkle introduced to the watch case and strap through a painstaking process of hand-hammering is a subtle, but entirely alluring, update.
