The 70th anniversary of Dior was marked with the release of five new watches, alongside a vast retrospective exhibition in Paris. Two models of the Mini D De Dior Satine Tressée were released, one with a gold dial and one with teal, and both replete with a delicate, gold- threaded bracelet paying homage to Dior’s design heritage. Three new, highly limited editions of the Dior VIII Montaigne also employed gold threads, sewn into herringbone, caning and houndstooth patterns on the diamond-studded dials.
