Wine O’clock
CHOPARD
Chopard’s co-president and self-professed oenophile Karl-friedrich Scheufele invited a group of select international media for a guided visit to Château Monestier La Tour, the 100-hectare hillside Bergerac wine estate that he and wife Christine acquired in 2012. Fine wine and fine watchmaking joined forces for the occasion, with Pau Infante, international sales manager of Chopard’s L.U.C range, unveiling the latest timepiece in the L.U.C Heritage Collection – the L.U.C Heritage Grand Cru. The piece, which is the first tonneau-shaped watch by Chopard to feature an automatic movement and a micro- rotor, comes in a rose gold case and pays homage to the brand’s founder, Louis-ulysse Chopard.
