It was a timely touch-down: we arrived at Omega’s space-themed exhibition opening in ifc mall just as Korean actor Jung Woo Sung took to the stage in the atrium. Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the iconic Omega Speedmaster, best known as the first watch to be worn on the Moon, the watchmaker’s campaign saw “Omega’s astronauts” appearing at different attractions around the city, inviting the public to visit the show. The Omega Speedmaster 60th Anniversary Exhibition, which was on display from June 29 to July 3, showcased new and vintage Speedmaster models from the last six decades, including the Speedmaster Racing Master Chronometer, the Speedmaster 38mm and the Speedmaster Blue Side of the Moon.
