Jazz Hands
PARMIGIANI FLEURIER
The Montreux Jazz Festival got into full swing this July and, for the 10th year, Parmigiani Fleurier was the principal sponsor. Music lovers flocked to the shores of Lake Geneva for the second-largest jazz festival in the world, with VIPS enjoying the sunshine and festivities from the comfort of the Parmigiani Fleurier lodge. Kansas born, New York-based piano prodigy Addison Frei (pictured) was selected as the winner of the Parmigiani Montreux Jazz Piano Solo Competition. Upon the final announcement, the three finalists joined together in a six-hand improvised piano piece, much to the joy of the crowd. Talented 25-year-old Frei will now participate along with two other laureates at the 4th Montreux Jazz Academy, set to take place in February and March next year.
