The piece evokes the drama and velvet drapes of a visit to the Italian opera, with its flourishing design sculpted from blood- red rubies and garnets. The mechanical flying tourbillon watch itself is a one- off and is laden with pink gold, grand feu enamel, baguette- cut pink sapphires and brilliant- cut diamonds.
